   Sue Striffler Galaski is a fourth generation funeral director, operating the oldest and BEST funeral homes in the McKeesport/Mon Valley area. Since she was 16 years old, it has been her focus to perpetuate the family tradition of excellence. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1981, served her internship with the family and earned her funeral director license in 1982. She has been the the Supervisor of Striffler's of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services for more than 3 decades. Since her father's passing, in 2006, she has been the firm's President.
   Aside from her daily operational duties, Sue gladly participates in many community functions. She sits on several local boards, including: the McKeesport Heritage Center, LaRosa Boys and Girls Club,White Oak Animal Safe Haven No-Kill Shelter, McKeesport Recreation Board and UPMC McKeesport. Sue is the Vice President of the White Oak Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Penn State Greater Allegheny Kids College, White Oak American Legion Auxiliary Post 701 and Friends of Allegheny County / White Oak Park.
   Sue is a lector and usher at St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak. In addition, she attends seasonal Grief Workshops, Memorial Day Parades, Flag Day, McKeesport Good Neighbor Day, Relay For Life, Festival of Trees, Fido Ball, International Village and the SS McKeesport ceremony on April 29th.
   In her spare time, she volunteers for the American Cancer Society and the McKeesport Hospital Foundation Fashion Show.
   Sue Ann is married to Steve Galaski and has a son, Adam. She hopes that Adam will commit to continue the tradition of excellence that only Striffler Family Funeral Homes can provide...
